Drilling Fluid Systems: Sterically Stabilized PHPA

The STERICALLY STABILIZED PHPA system is a highly inhibitive system which imparts excellent lubricity coefficients in conjunction with highly efficient carrying capacity when used with a Xanthan Gum. The system uses in excess of 3 kg/m³, 90% active (powdered) PHPA as an encapsulator. No bentonite is used in the system. Q'Max personnel have been extensively involved in running this system on both highly deviated & vertical wells through very reactive shales & clays. Results have been well documented & have contributed to many successful drilling projects.
